John discovered Maine while stationed at Loring Air Force Base in Limestone for three years, and Nancy grew up vacationing in Maine each summer. Both were drawn back to Maine because of its community, its atmosphere, and their belief that people in Maine strive for a life in greater balance with the natural world and natural healing.
