I love coming to see John for acupuncture at The Jade Trade because from start to finish its an incredibly nurturing and healing experience, whether its the asthetically pleasing waiting room with help yoursilf tea, his smiling face when he greets me, or his genuinely heartfelt interest that he shows in my health. John is a healthcare practitioner I can trust with my deepest emotions, fears and health problems. He has excellent bedside manner, and practical suggestions for health improvement.
I recently had one of my most dramatic changes in health during one of his sessions. I entered the treatment room and told him I'd been feeling tired, lethargic, anxious, depressed, and that I felt a cold coming on as I had a big lump in my throat. He listened attentively and then went to work. I cried while expressing what was going on in my life recently and he was very supportive of my emotional cleansing process. He inserted the needles with the ease of expertise and I felt a rush of heat and the lump in my throat dissapated quite rapidly, to my amazement. He articulated in a succinct way my health issue in Chinese Medicine terms, so that I could understand my healing process more. When I left the treatment room I felt lighter, calmer, more centered and at Peace inside myself, and no longer felt the "cold" coming on. I was very happy to pay his modest fee and took some of the Chinese herbal remedies he reccomended to help my healing precess continue.

The Jade Trade and John's treatments were the answer to my prayers! My husbnad and I had been trying to conceive for over a year, western doctor's couldn't figure out what was wrong and finally after being convinced by a friend to try accupuncture, I called John. My husband was reluctant at first but after John's thorough assesment of my dietary needs, imbalances, and what needed to be restored, my husband, family and friends all felt that we were on the right track - it just felt right. I began to feel healthier, I had more energy and my stress levels were the lowest they've ever been, thanks to John's herbal tea called "free and easy wanderer". John took his time with me during each session, allowing me the time and space I needed to relax. Within one month of treatments I became pregnant (coincidently right after I had been told that I have a condition in which I couldn't get pregnant without invasive surgery). I am so grateful for John's understanding of women's needs, especially in this situation, I am more grateful for his faith in accupunture and healing, his beliefs and amazing healing abilities prevented me from being opened up in surgery and myhusband and I are very excited expecting parents to be!
